The entire family is invited to come out and join in the festivities with the company promising something for everyone -- face painting and balloons for the kids, make-up advice for moms and health tips and discounts for all. According to marketing director of Phoenix Stores Ltd., Pauline Girling, the idea behind the event is more than just a celebration of recently-completed renovations at the South Road, Smith's Parish apothecary, it's also a way to say thankyou to the community. "Collector's Hill Apothecary could not exist in its present state without the support of the many families that have made the store such an essential part of the local community,'' she said. "So, as a gesture of our support for family values, we are donating a percentage of our sales during the two day event to a local children's home.''
