Teachers Rugby Club are the hosts.

Part of a 14-year tradition, the club last held an event in March, which was deemed the most successful ever with record attendances and the strongest card.

Saturday's event promises to be even better with 10 fights on the bill.

The main event will see Leo Richardson take on Ben Batoul, while among the other bouts are Edwin Cumberbatch against Mike Jones and Sharrieff Wales against Manny Volato.

A women's fight is also on the card with Vanessa Hardy taking on Natasha Simmons.

All fighters will be competing for medals -- some will be defending while others will play the role of the challenger.

As well as the boxing there will also be a DJ, raffle, food and a full bar, sponsored by Heineken and Smirnoff.

Tickets are $15 before the event and $20 on the door. Doors open at 7.30 p.m.

and the fighting gets underway at 8 p.m.
