Strings Sensation meets Santa: November 16 is the day jazz guitarist and recording artist Richard Smith, left, will headline the entertainment at Treble Clef Productions' first Christmas Party, to be held at the Ruth Seaton James Auditorium for the Performing Arts.

In addition to performing, Mr. Smith is a tenured professor at the University of Southern California, where he directs a doctoral programme in guitar studies.

The musical programme will also include Dennis Fox & Friends, and young saxophonist Aaron Daniels.

Tickets for the event ($50) will include a full buffet Christmas dinner. To reserve tables for four, six, eight of ten, telephone 291-JAZZ not later than November 17.

The 6 p.m. dinner will be preceded by cocktails at 5 p.m., and showtime is aaat 7.30 p.m. Raffles will include turkeys, chickens and hams.
