Catwalk cutie Jenna Judd is strutting her stuff in the Italian fashion capital of Milan.

And proud parents Derek and Susan Judd, of Devonshire, are behind their glamorous university student daughter all the way.

Mrs. Judd said: "She's worked very hard this year at university and modelling and we're delighted with her.'' And she added combining the classroom and the catwalk was not all jet-setting glamour.

Mrs. Judd said: "It took a lot of stamina on her part. But she's done it all -- got her grades and completed the year.

"The ICE Agency in Milan is promoting her and trying to find work for her over the summer so she gets experience at a more international level.'' Jenna, 18, was snapped up by top Canadian model agency Ford when she started an arts degree at the University of Toronto last autumn.

She has already appeared in a six-page photo shoot in the best-selling Canadian glossy women's magazine Flare in a summer beauty feature.

And Ford bosses were so impressed by the five-foot, ten-inch ex-Bermuda High School for Girls and Saltus Grammar School pupil, they sent her to the home of world-famous designers like Giorgio Armani to gain valuable experience at the top end of the trade.

Now Jenna is considering taking a year off her studies to concentrate on boosting her modelling career.

Jenna became interested in modelling at the age of 17 -- and The Royal Gazette's RG Magazine spotted her potential early, signing her up for work in Bermuda.

She has also modelled for Smith's department store and for the massive Eaton's store in Toronto.

Mrs. Judd said: "She's enjoying Italy very much -- it was a bit of an adjustment at first because she is young and it's a long way from home.

"She's been working hard and going to a lot of castings. She's already had two jobs I know of, for an Italian telephone company and a magazine.'' Jenna attended BHS for most of her school career, finishing off with a senior year at Saltus before beginning a degree at the University of Toronto.
