Aaliyah Nolan and Leah Smith both netted hat-tricks to lead West to victory in the weekend’s Women’s All-Star Futsal match at Bermuda College Gym.West cruised to a comfortable 14-7 win over the East who were no match for their rivals.Shauntae Todd also netted a hat-trick in a losing cause for the East.The West team was coached by rookie All-Star coach Wayne Smith while East were coached by Aaron Denkins who was making his second appearance as coach in the All-Star match featuring the best players in the Women’s Futsal League.North Village Rams’ Leilanni Nesbeth was chosen as All-Star MVP.Awards were also presented to Cleshaunay Darrell Virgil (Dandy Stars Gold) who topped the Women’s Futsal League scoring charts this past season and league MVP Zara Gibbons (Dandy Stars Brown).Newly-crowned Women’s Futsal League champions PHC Zebras were also presented with the League Cup.Bermuda Football Association (BFA) president Larry Mussenden, BFA player development committee chairman Mark Wade and FIFA representative Angenie Kanhai were among those on hand to present the various awards following Saturday’s match.
