The State University of New York at Buffalo has awarded Nikia Manders of Downing Lane, Warwick, a Bachelor of Arts Degree (cum laude) in dance.

Ms Manders, the daughter of Linda Manders and M. Walisfort Manders, was also honoured by the Office of Multicultural Students Affairs on her graduation. She was also elected Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and was on the Dean's List for the 2002/2003 year.

Ms Manders will be living in the United States.
