Butterfield shares slip on NYSE

A total of 10,000 shares of Argus Group Holdings Ltd traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, but with no change to the closing price of $3.91.
On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were down eight cents, or 0.25 per cent, at $31.89.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged at 2,144.69, while the BSX Insurance Index fell 39.84 points, or 2.44 per cent, to 1,592.26.
Separately, Butterfield Bank said it repurchased 83,900 of its shares last month, at an average price of $31.49 per share, for cancellation.
