THREE of Bermuda's top youth sailors attended the annual Orange Bowl regatta held in Miami from December 27-30.

Cameron Pimentel, Jordan Saints and Jason Saints all competed in the Laser Radial fleet. They were accompanied b Bermuda's Laser class coach, Dino Weber.

Wind conditions varied significantly over the four-day regatta. There was good middle wind for the first two days, which died out leaving very little wind for the remaining two days. Pimentel placed ninth overall while Jordan Saints finished in 15th place and Jason Saints placed 31.

There were 110 sailors in this fleet comprising of the top youth US sailors and also sailors from various South American and European countries.

Pimentel will be off to the ISAF Youth Worlds in Buzios, Brazil in July after getting the top youth spot at the recent Bermuda Laser Radial Nationals.
