Training business opens
It is not what is in your notes but what is in your head that counts according to Terri Trott Managing Director of Tetro Administrative Services Limited (TASL).
Owned and operated by Ms Trott, TASL was established in January to provide administrative training for administrative support staff and offer administrative services to businesses, organisations and individuals.
TASL is based on phase one of the Washington Mall in Hamilton adjacent to the Cranleigh School of Business.
Ms. Trott, a computer and business instructor, has offerered the Office Administration programme Part One and Two, since 2001 through the Cranleigh School of Business but has now stepped into the limelight is setting out on her own destiny with her own fully fledged venture.
"The programme is designed for people interested in working in an office career or for people already working as administrative assistants but who want to improve on their skills," Ms Trott said.
"Our graduates have secured positions as executive assistants, legal secretaries, office managers, personal banker, junior corporate administrators, administrative secretaries and some have become entrepreneurs."
With her warm smile and easy going manner Ms Trott aims to accomplish the best results from the students attending her programmes.
"I have the firm principle that students learn best in a relaxed environment where they can build confidence and a desire to learn."
Ms. Trott said the rate of learning is based on the interaction of the team members and the instructor with an emphasis being on developing skills are directly transferable to the workplace.
