Two Bermuda spas are named among the world’s best in this month’s issue of Travel + Leisure magazine.La Serena Spa at The Reefs and Willow Stream at the Fairmont Southampton have been recognised by the magazine on the “World’s Best Spas” lists for 2012.In its debut on the list, La Serena Spa takes the spot for Bermuda coming in at No 3 on the list of top five hotel spas in the Caribbean, Bermuda and the Bahamas. Earlier in 2012, The Reefs was honoured in the Condé Nast Traveler Top Spas List.For its annual World’s Best Spas award, Travel + Leisure readers evaluated hotel spas based on ambience, treatments, service and value. The Reefs’ spa earned a score of 92.60 and the Fairmont Southampton’s scored a 92.14.The awards are available online and featured in the October 2012 issue of the magazine.
