A 48-year-old sailor travelling from Bermuda to his home in Maine was found dead in Gloucester Harbour, Massachusetts this weekend.According to Gloucester police, David Kendall, from Yarmouth, Maine, had moored his 43.9ft sailboat in East Gloucester, but was found dead in the water just before 3pm on Saturday.He reportedly arrived in Bermuda as part of the Marion to Bermuda race, leaving the Island on June 26.While it is unclear as to how Mr Kendall may have fallen into the water, there are reportedly no apparent signs of foul play.The incident remains under investigation by the Gloucester Police and the Essex County District Attorney’s office.
