Bermuda-based international law firm, Conyers Dill & Pearman, has announced that Tan Woon Tiang has been made an international partner as of April 1, 2003.

Mr. Tan is head of CD&P's Singapore office which he helped to establish in October 2001, after having spent several months in Bermuda familiarising himself with CD&P systems and procedures.

Mr. Tan obtained his LLB degree from the National University of Singapore and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor in Singapore in 1985.

He was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1994.

He then went as a solicitor to Hong Kong in 1996 and in the British Virgin Islands in 2001.

He is also registered in Bermuda to practise law.
