Brislane, of Woodbourne Avenue, Pembroke, was spotted by Police on August 31 this year as he drove an auxiliary bike from Victoria Street onto Court Street, Police prosecutor Sgt. Anthony Mouchette told Magistrates' Court.
"He appeared unsteady and the Police stopped him. He admitted drinking alcohol,'' added Sgt. Mouchette.
Brislane was taken to the Hamilton Police Station where a breath test showed a reading of 88 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
He pleaded guilty to driving while impaired and Senior Magistrate Will Francis fined him $350 and disqualified him from driving all vehicles for 12 months.
