Bermudian Inspector Anthony Mouchette is a 17-year veteran of the Police Service.

He began his career as a cadet while still in school and later served as a Cadet Instructor in the Police Training School, Central CID, and the Major Incident Room.

Insp. Mouchette has acquired extensive training in Instructional Techniques, Intelligence Analysis and Negotiation.

He currently serves as a Police prosecutor in Magistrates' Court.

Also from Bermuda, Insp. Mark Botelho entered the Service immediately after graduating from High School in 1980. He has served in the Marine and Cycle Squads and received the Commissioner's Commendation award for excellent seamanship during the Xing-Da incident.

Insp. Botelho is the team leader for the Police Explosive Team and has received additional training in Marine Search and Rescue, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, and Police Management.

And this year's third Bermudian, Insp. Beverly Hopkins entered the Police Service in 1979 and has served in the Central Uniform, Traffic, Narcotics, and Special Branch departments.

She was previously the head of the Special Branch Unit and has been the Acting Inspector for Central Uniform since January this year. Insp. John Skinner was born in Brighton, England and joined the Bermuda Police force in 1972.

He has served as a constable in the Central, Western and Traffic and Operations Divisions.

Insp. Skinner also spent five years in the Marine Section and was a founding member of the Police Computer Section.

As sergeant he was responsible for producing several national and Service Incident Response Plans and Operational Orders for major events.

Insp. Earl Kirby was a teacher in St. Vincent and the Grenadines before joining the Bermuda Police service in 1973.

He is a recipient of the Commissioner's Commendation and has served as Police prosecutor in Magistrates' Court. He was later posted to Western CID and was responsible for all crime-related matters in Warwick, Southampton and Sandys parishes.

Insp. Kirby has received further overseas training in Police Management, Criminal Investigation, and Homicide Investigation Techniques.

Insp. Peter Giles has served in Uniform, Eastern and Western CID, Traffic, Prosecutions, and Training since joining the Bermuda Police in 1975. He has been on a number of overseas courses including a CID course and an Instructional Techniques and Management Course.
