On behalf of the Government and the people of Bermuda it is my pleasure to congratulate the St. George's Foundation on the opening of the World Heritage Centre. I know this museum is a multi-year labour of love carried out by volunteers who love history, love Bermuda and, above all, love St. George's. Well done.

Congratulations!

Mission accomplished!

On behalf of the Government and the people of Bermuda it is my pleasure to congratulate the St. George's Foundation on the opening of the World Heritage Centre. I know this museum is a multi-year labour of love carried out by volunteers who love history, love Bermuda and, above all, love St. George's. Well done.

The World Heritage Centre gives visitors to our shores yet another reason to visit the town of St. George's - a UNESCO destination with a history as rich and memorable as a Bermuda rum cake.

Local lovers of history already know St. George's is the place to go if you want to see how it all started 400 years ago. So it is fitting that on our country's 400th anniversary the World Heritage Centre has given Bermudians a reason to fall in love with St. George's all over again.

May God bless this new museum; it is a fine tribute to our country's history.

Sincerely,

Dr. the Hon. Ewart F. Brown, JP, MP

Premier and Minister of Tourism & Transport
