Backpacks and school supplies will be donated to needy children on Friday at XL House. World Vision and the XL Foundation have partnered again for the School Tools Back Pack Distribution. This year AXIS Specialty Limited has joined as co-sponsor.

A ?back pack stuffing? will be held tomorrow when XL and AXIS employees stuff backpacks with school supplies.

The next day the packs will be presented to Government, community agencies, community groups, churches and schools.

The presentation will be at XL House and representatives of each group will accept the backpacks on behalf of their organisations and children in need. Managing director of the Northeast Region of World Vision US, Cheryl Self, said: ?World Vision is best known for helping children all around the world and I am elated to be back in Bermuda participating in this year?s School Tools Distribution.?

?We are extremely excited and pleased with the continued community and corporate support.?

Ms Self said 1,000 backpacks will be distributed this year.
