Bermuda stock exchange appoints project manage
its first Project Manager.
Although Mr. Wojciechowski will have some input on the future direction of the Exchange, his principal task lies in implementing the decisions of the Exchange council and its chairman, Mr. Bill Dolan.
Mr. Wojciekowski earned a BA in business administration from the University of North Carolina, with a minor in international studies. It was at the university that he met his Bermudian wife Kerri (nee Wendt).
He spent a year studying French at the University D'Aix Marseille and also attended a programme run by Denmark International Studies in Copenhagen.
He began his working career in the international department of Shearson Lehman Hutton, moving on to the international and administration division of Prudential Securities, Inc. and then the emerging markets operations of James Capel, Inc., all in New York City.
Mr. Wojciechowski said: "There's a serious commitment to making this Exchange move forward and turn it into something of a major offshore financial market.
"Bermuda is well established as one of the most respected offshore financial centres and has a sophisticated business infrastructure. there are many opportunities available for the Exchange to grow and mature.''
