January 13, 2011Dear Sir,Please allow me a few lines to tell you about an exceptionally run business here in Bermuda. I refer to Audio Visual Electronics located both in Hamilton and Mangrove Bay, Somerset.A few weeks ago I went into the Hamilton store to purchase some earphones for my cellular phone. The store clerk was extremely professional but, alas, was unable to provide me with what I was looking for. He made some recommendations as to where I might be able to get them. I went to one of the stores he suggested, but I received the most atrocious service there that I have ever received and they sold me the wrong product. I vowed I would never return there again for anything.After receiving such bad service I decided to go to Audio Visual's location in Somerset. What a difference. The young lady who served me was extremely helpful and was able to assist me in obtaining my earphones. However, a few weeks after making my purchase, the earphones stopped working. I went back to the location in Somerset where a young man came to my assistance. I explained to him what had happened and he did what he could to assist me. Finally a decision was made to give me a new set of earphones at no charge even though I did not have my receipt with me.Needless to say, I was extremely pleased with the exceptional service even though I was dealing with someone different who had not served me originally. The entire experience was so effortless that it has ensured that I will continue to patronise this business for some time to come. P-Tech needs to take some lessons from these business people.I do not know if Audio Visual provides its staff with specialised training but a lot of business in Bermuda need to take a page out of their book. All my experiences at Audio Visual at both their locations have been truly exceptional from the time I bought my first cellular phone at their Hamilton store until now. If all businesses were as good as this one ‘Buy Bermuda” would be an unnecessary campaign. I would recommend these stores to anyone who is looking for the goods and services they offer.
