What's happening in St. George's? It's time to head eastward!Wednesday, February 18 and Wednesday, February 25 are special days in St. George's!You are encouraged to visit St. George's by arranging an outing to Ye Old Towne!10:30 a.m. walking tour of the town which departs from the Visitors' Service Bureau on the Town Square.

Wednesday, February 18 and Wednesday, February 25 are special days in St. George's!You are encouraged to visit St. George's by arranging an outing to Ye Old Towne!

Activities include:

10:30 a.m. walking tour of the town which departs from the Visitors' Service Bureau on the Town Square.

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. tour of historic Mitchell House, complete with a piece of homemade banana bread and a cup of steaming Bermuda tea. The St. George's Historical Society (located at the corner of Printer's Alley and Duke of Kent Street), will conduct a tour for a small donation of $5.00.

11.45 a.m. meet the Mayor, The Hon. E. Michael Jones, at The Town Hall.

noon watch the ducking ...a must-see re-enactment of a public punishment being carried out on the Town Square.

1.20 p.m. an afternoon walking tour of the town departs from the Visitors Service Bureau on the Town Square.

2.30 p.m. pay a visit to the cruise ship terminal on Ordnance Island (home of The Deliverance) where Mr. Lance Furbert will give an informative and interesting hour-long talk about our World Heritage Site - the historic town of St. George and related fortifications.

These are just a few good reasons to plan to head eastward for the next couple of Wednesdays - we look forward to seeing you!
