Crown counsel Garrett Byrne has presented new charges in Magistrates’ Court on firearm offences linking two brothers to the same gun.Michael Talbot, 23, of Sleepy Hollow Drive, Hamilton Parish was yesterday charged with possessing a .38 calibre handgun at Devonshire Recreational Club on March 24.He was further charged with possessing a stun gun in Hamilton Parish on March 27 and the handgun with ammunition.His brother, Shauntonnai Talbot, 25, of Wreck View Hill, Devonshire was charged on Tuesday with possessing a .38 calibre firearm between an unknown date and March 28.He was released on $20,000 with a like surety but was listed in court on Wednesday as being on remand due to bail conditions. The case will be heard in the Supreme Court.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded his co-defendant into custody and set a date for a short form preliminary inquiry on May 28.
