New Testament Church of God: Breakfast of Champions seminar for leaders on Saturday, September 11 and each first Saturday of the month commencing October 2 to August 6, 2005 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Goodwin C. Smith Banquet Hall. If you are in leadership positions in the Church, community or your family, these seminars are designed especially for you. Presentations, enhancement leadership skills, interactive learning experience, relationship building and networking opportunities and practical solutions to current issues. Registration $150. Upcoming events

Marsden First United Methodist Church, South Shore, Smiths: Friends and Family Day on Sunday, September 9 at 9 a.m. with Rev. Joseph Whalen. The topic will be "A Homecoming Celebration to Cultivate our Friendship in Christ".

Salvation Army, White Hill Corps: Take out dinner on Friday, September 17 from 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. Chicken, macaroni & cheese, mixed vegetables, coleslaw, beets a roll and dessert will be served. Tickets are $12 and proceeds are in aid of church projects.

St. Mark's Church: White elephant sale on Saturday, September 25 from 10 to 2 p.m. in the church hall. Books, plants, baked goods and even preserves will be on sale.

St. Peter's Church, St. George's: Evensong on Sunday, September 26 at 4 p.m.

The African Hebrew Israelites: The New World classes on the African Edenic Presence in the Bible and the Holy Land and classes of spiritual upliftment every Friday from 6.30 to 8.30 p.m. at Dellwood Middle School. Speaker: Ayton Ha Cohen, anointed priest from Israel. Call 294-4134.
