May 28, 2012Dear Sir,One of the radio and television reporters asked me when I was watching the May 24 Parade, what my favourite memory of past Bermuda Days was. I had no hesitation in answering that it was when my wife caught the rhythm and went out and danced and danced and danced with the Gombeys two years ago. It is memories like that that make May 24 the best holiday of the year, apart from Christmas and Cup Match, and Good Friday and all the other holidays! It’s a day for fun and families and good sport, and there was plenty of that to go around last week. I wanted to congratulate all those who had a hand in organising the day this year.
