Holders Lobster Pot out of cup
Commercial Cup holders Lobster Pot crashed out of that competition at the weekend after failing to score against Tuff Dogs after 90 minutes and then missing twice from the ensuing penalties.
Tuff Dogs will joined in the semi-finals by North Village Rams who beat Dandy Town Roots 1-0, courtesy of a Damon Wade goal.
Robin Hood are also through after becoming the first commercial league team to beat MR Onions this season.
Hood were good value for their 3-1 win, having raced into a 3-0 lead after 25 minutes. MRs never gave up and dominated the rest of the game, but could only reduce the deficit by the one second half goal from Dave Martin who controlled a right wing cross to score from close range.
Hood's goals cane from a Jevanie Fubler header, followed by a Chris Chinnick strike and a Kenny Dill clinical finish. Fubler had a hand in all three goals and was causing Onions all sorts of problems before being slowed down with a shoulder injury after a reckless tackle.
Key West Rangers came from behind to beat BAA 2-1. Luke Armstrong fired BAA into the lead but two second half Kwame Tucker goals clinched Rangers a spot in the semi-finals.
