Don't abuse power

January 11, 2011Dear Sir,There are two friends of mine and some staff at CedarBridge that got their final justice in 2010 after having dealt with a crisis. One friend, Ianthia Wade, went through different stages to prove her innocence and in mid-2010 she finally got her final justice. Ianthia, I read in The Royal Gazette on January 8, 2011 about your new appointment with a government board. (Keep going forward, but don't forget the 21 years you dedicated to SummerHaven).Another friend Dr Shaun O'Connell whom I am very excited with that had the charges against him by the Bermuda College were found to be untrue and he got his final justice due him after almost ten years. (I guess the College found out that they were dealing with a shark hunter). The situation with the staff at CedarBridge having to go to court to avoid being fired by the school chairman panned out for final justice for the staff in 2010. The chairman was then proven to have violated the school constitution. It is a sad day when members can't approach their board, or have the chairman honour their request to be heard. So much time wasted and so much embarrassment can be avoided if the accused are given a proper hearing. I am asking members of the board to be more objective and question even what the chairman brings to the board.Chairman, stop abusing your power.WILLARD S. FOXSmith's
