Alleged Lindo's robber appears for arraignment

to a 33-count indictment, including two charges of attempted murder, three counts of robbery, and four counts of unlawfully discharging a firearm.
Derek V. Spalding of Hamilton Parish, is accused in the June 1 armed robbery at Lindo's Market on Watlington Road in Devonshire. He was remanded to custody by Puisne Judge Vincent Meerabux to December 2 for his next Supreme Court appearance.
Spalding is charged with the attempted murder of Nikeisha Gibbons and Eugene Eversley Jr. on June 1.
Spalding is represented by Attorney Mark Pettingill. Senior Crown Counsel Brian Calhoun appeared for the Crown.
