of the sixth round of races in the Pepsi Motocross National Championship Series which continued at Coney Island.

Reigning Bermuda number one Robert Smith, competing in the 250B class, particularly excelled, getting off to good starts and making everyone eat his dirt as he shot around the course.

His sole competitor in the class, Edison Jones, proved no match for Smith who took all three motos handily.

Meanwhile Aaron Pace once again showed his pedigree among the 125B group, guiding his Honda motorcycle to three firsts.

Putting his years of experience to good use was Gary Simons as he held off Justin Belboda for second place behind Pace in the first two motos and beat the improving Malcolm Raynor in the final race.

Racing unopposed in the 250C group was Kevin Walton. He took advantage of Donnie Moss' absence to gain valuable points and move ahead in the standings.

Devin Moss was similarly a no-show among the 125Cs but managed to hold his points lead over Kyle Constable and Evan Lambert. Constable defeated Lambert in all three races for his first overall win.

The 80cc class found the going tough but Chris Maxwell adapted best to the conditions to out ride the rest of his competitors and take three firsts for his third hat-trick of the year.

The Bermuda Auto Cycle Union will be having a meeting tomorrow (Thursday) at Admiralty House beginning at 7.30 p.m.
