as Sea Sunday.

Churches around the world will hold services and offer prayers for those who endure the danger, loneliness and hardship of being at sea for months on end.

Chairman of the Sailor's Home, John P. Young, pointed out that Bermudians relied upon seafarers for their well being and prosperity since most visitors and consumer goods were brought to the Island by seafarers.

He invited all to attend the Bermuda Sailors' Home (Mariners Club) annual Sea Sunday Service at their premises on Richmond Road in Pembroke.

The service, Mr. Young said, would be conducted by their honourary Chaplain, Archdeacon Emeritus Thomas Dyson, with an address by the former president of the Bermuda Industrial Union Ottiwell Simmons.

The Bermuda Sailors' Home is a registered charity which has been concerned with the welfare of seafarers for over 50 years.
