Devonshire Cougars beat PHC 3-0 this afternoon to ease into the FA Cup final.

Devonshire Cougars 3PHC 0Tumani Steede scored twice and Ricardo Brangman saved a penalty as Devonshire Cougars eased into the FA Cup final this afternoon.Cougars strolled to a comfortable 3-0 win over a poor PHC side who struggled to string two passes together and until the penalty early in the second half hadn't mustered a single shot on goal.Steede gave the lead with only six minutes gone when he was given the freedom of the penalty area and smashed a shot past Raymond Glasford.Glasford kept PHC in the game throughout the first half, making several crucial saves, and Cougars really should have finished their opponents off before half time.As it was a clumsy Kijuan Franks challenge on Aquino Grant gave PHC an way back in that they hardly deserved, but Blenn Bean's penalty was a poor one and Brangman dived well to his left to palm the ball away.Substitute Lloyd Holder hit the post with a header soon after, and Russell had a couple of free kicks saved by Brangman as PHC piled on the pressure. They couldn't find a way through however and Kwame Steede doubled his side's lead with less than quarter of an hour remaining when his scuffed effort hit the floor and bounced over Glasford's head. All that was left was for Tumani Steede to grab his second when his faintest of touches was enough to divert a slide-rule pass from Domico Coddington past Glasford with little more than five minutes remaining.Cougars will meet the winners of the second semi-final between St David's and Southampton Rangers on March 20.
