Burglars strike Warwick homes

In the early hours of Sunday morning, a house in Tribe Road No. 2 was hit by a raider.The male occupant awoke around 4 a.m. and saw the silhouette of a man standing at his bedroom door.

The householder yelled at the raider and he ran off -- but a Pioneer stereo system, a Sharp TV/VCR combination and cash were all missing.

Another Tribe Road No. 2 resident came home from a trip overseas to find her home had been ransacked.

And on Friday, cash was stolen from a purse at another house in the nearby Olive Bank condominiums just before 10 p.m.

The woman resident was watching TV when her neighbour came round and told her his apartment had just been burgled.

The woman heard a noise from upstairs and found someone had entered her upstairs bedroom and stolen money from her purse.
