I.Rangers 5 Hamilton Parish 2

Ireland Rangers closed out the 2001/02 First Division season in dramatic fashion with this thrilling 5-2 win over Hamilton Parish.

Jermaine Saltus gave the home team the lead in the 19th minute, but Parish's Sean Dill levelled the scores on the stroke of half time.

Rangers retook the lead early in the second half through Shaki Simmons, however, it became apparent that Parish were not just done yet as Neil `Diamond' Robinson again drew the teams even.

But the elevator would stop here for the visitors as Jonathan Bean re-established Rangers' lead in the 58th minute, before Saltus notched his second goal of the match four minutes later.

However, Rangers still had something to offer their guests and it was left to their veteran Anthony `Small Berka' Burchall to apply the finishing touches with a late goal that ultimately floored the visitors.

S.Rangers 1 Somerset Eagles 1

Southampton Rangers could only muster a 1-1 draw at the Oval despite the visiting Somerset Eagles opting to rest their stalwarts in preparation for next weekend's all-important Shield Competition final against Boulevard.

Rangers took the lead through Alfred Wolfe in the 60th minute, however, 15 minutes later Kion Simmons levelled.

Social Club 1 Paget 1

It was only fitting that the League's bottom dwellers each got a slice of the pie at Bernard Park yesterday.

Social Club took the lead through Eric Dunkley moments before halftime. However, after enjoying the lion's share of play they were made to pay when determined Paget equalised in the 60th minute through Kenneth Outerbridge. The point was Social Club's first of the season.
