Cruise ship arrivals decline this week

Cruise Ship arrivals fell again this week as only four of the vessels stopped by the Island.On Monday, both the <I>Norwegian Majesty</I> and the <I>Explorer of the Seas</I> docked in Bermuda.The <I>Norwegian Majesty</I> berthed at Ordnance Island at 2.15 p.m., arriving from Baltimore with 1,661 passengers, and will depart the Island tomorrow.

Cruise Ship arrivals fell again this week as only four of the vessels stopped by the Island.

On Monday, both the Norwegian Majesty and the Explorer of the Seas docked in Bermuda.

The Norwegian Majesty berthed at Ordnance Island at 2.15 p.m., arriving from Baltimore with 1,661 passengers, and will depart the Island tomorrow.

The Explorer of the Seas berthed at Kings Wharf with 3,577 passengers at 8 a.m., and left yesterday to return to New Jersey.

Arriving yesterday, the Norwegian Dream berthed at Pennos Wharf with 2,030 passengers and returns to Boston on Friday at noon.

The Norwegian Dawn is scheduled to arrive at Kings Wharf this morning with 2,793 passengers, and will also leave port on Friday.

The Oleander arrived at port on Sunday, bringing with it 216 containers, 45 of which were refrigerated.

The ship also carried six road trailers, two cars, a truck, a utility trailer, an excavator and a mafi.

The Somers Isles is expected to arrive this morning from Fernandina Beach, Florida with 151 containers for the Island, including five reefers and a boat.

The Bermuda Islander is scheduled to arrive tomorrow morning with 157 containers, including 31 reefers, eight flat-racks, and two flatbed trailers.
