The 89-metre, `little blue ship' Caledonian Star , with 90 passengers, will berth in Hamilton before moving to St. George's Harbour and leaving on Saturday. Operated by UK based Noble Caledonia Limited, Caledonia Star has a capacity for just 110 passengers and offers specialised cruises throughout the world.

She is currently on her first voyage from the Caribbean with stops in Bermuda and the Azores as she returns to the UK.

In regular cruising news, Monday saw the season's first arrival of Zenith out of New York with 1,426 passengers.

And the Norwegian Majesty arrived yesterday from Boston with 1,713 visitors.

Private visiting vessels to the Island include the schooner Westwood and the luxury catch Andromeda La Dea , both at the east end.

And yesterday a US Navy submarine made an offshore crew transfer.

On the Hamilton docks, the Oleander arrived on schedule this week with 143 dry and 32 refrigerated containers, 11 cars, an office trailer, tractor, boat, seven road trailers of structured steel, and five horses.

And the Somers Isles brought in 121 dry and four refrigerated containers, nine boats, and bundles of lumber and steel.

Heavy rain slowed offloading and led to departure delays for both container ships.

On Thursday the Bermuda Islander is expected with 104 dry and 14 refrigerated containers, an office trailer, and boat.

Seasonal visitor: The Norwegian Crown graced the Hamilton and St. George's Harbours this week. She returns on Monday.
