Morrison and Eatherley set the early pace
Running series.
Two races into the five-race series, the pair have 100 percent records and 100 points and lead the boys and girls 13-15 age groups.
The latest series league tables released yesterday show Morrison being closely challenged by Henry Talbot on 90 points and Eatherley having to hold off Robyn Dickinson and Shardae Whitter, who have both clocked up 75 points.
The series has got off to a flying start in its first year, with 167 juniors signing up.
Terence Dill, the junior cross country champion, bounced back from a disappointing third place finish in the first race, the KPMG Junior Road Race, to take top honours in the Butterfield and Vallis race and now leads the boys 11-12 group with 85 points.
Dill will face a strong challenge from Chayce Smith, who won the first race, missed the second through illness, but is expected to line up for the next event, the Ocean Spray 3K on Sunday.
With the best four out of five results counting towards the final overall points total, Smith is very much in contention.
In the girls 11-12 group, Flora Duffy has won both races to establish a clear lead over Jenny Palmer and Chloe Kemp.
In the 8-10 group, Cody Lima has dominated the boys with two wins and Jessica Palmer has done likewise in the girls.
CORRECTION: Christopher Nusum, of Heron Bay School, and Dominique Nanette, of Warwick Academy, finished fourth in the boys under-13 Around the Town relay on Sunday and not Daron Robinson and Bradley Simons, as stated in Monday's Royal Gazette .
