Premier Ewart Brown and his wife, Wanda Brown, handed out 150 turkeys to the constituents of Warwick South Central on Saturday.

"It was good to be able to donate the turkeys in the true Christmas spirit of giving and not ask for anything in return," Dr. Brown said.

Mrs. Brown agreed, saying: "I really look forward to this event every year."

This was the sixth year that Dr. Brown has given turkeys to his constituents, and while he intends to end his term in 2010, he promised to continue the tradition in the future.
