Applied Computer Technologies (ACT) is set to become the only direct authorised channel partner in Bermuda after entering into an agreement with EMC Corp.

ACT will immediately become a member of the EMC Velocity Partner Programme. EMC is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts.

"This is another significant milestone for ACT," said Dave Bart, general manager of ACT. "For the past few years ACT has continually researched partnerships that have the ability to make a significant impact for our clients.

"EMC is a natural extension of our partnership strategy and we look forward to educating the market about EMC and their diversified suite of products that range far beyond traditional hardware-based storage solutions."
