A Bermuda Electric Light spokeswoman last night said crews would be working late into the night to restore power.
And she said crews would begin work early today to complete repairs for roughly 100 isolated homes scattered across the Island.

And yesterday they continued to encounter "trouble on the water'' as a result of the inclement weather.
In addition to recovering drifting boats and yachts, Police towed a 15-year-old student to safety after his jet ski broke down in Hamilton Harbour during the weekend.
Yesterday, Marine Police dealt with five incidents of marine craft either sinking or breaking their moorings and drifting.
Two small craft were completely under the water at the Camber NAS area of St.
George's Harbour and another small vessel ran aground at Banjo Island, also in the East End.
Another 17-foot craft turned up on the rocks at Salt Kettle in Paget having broken free from its moorings at Pearman Watlington where it was undergoing repair.
A ten-foot fibreglass boat also broke away from its mooring on North Shore.
The boat is described as white with a bimini top. It has no engine.
