The Kloster Cruises vessel -- one of four regular calling ships this year -- is scheduled to make 27 visits.

Next week, Chandris Celebrity Cruises' Horizon will arrive for the first of her 27 calls.

Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's Nordic Prince , which is represented by Bermuda Travel Tours, will begin her regular New York-Bermuda run on Tuesday. This week, the Meridian berthed at Dockyard with 906 passengers. She sails tomorrow.

Holland America Line's Noordam was in port on Monday with 1,147 passengers.

The ship left late in the afternoon to continue her voyage from New York to San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The visit was the last of the ship's three visits to the Island this year. She will begin Caribbean cruising through the summer. The ship was represented by Harnett & Richardson.

The Westward is expected in port with 480 passengers. The ship is currently on her positioning cruise from St. Thomas to begin her New York-Bermuda run through to October.

Bermuda this week is hosting the British tall ship Astrid which arrived in Hamilton on Saturday from the Azores. The sail training vessel has 26 trainees aboard including Bermudian Mr. Kenneth Outerbridge.

The ship is a two-masted brig built in Holland in 1918.

On Bermuda's docks, the Abitibi Orinoco arrived at daylight on Monday to deliver 105 rolls of paper for Island Press and 880 rolls for The Royal Gazette Ltd.

The ship, which was represented locally by Harnett & Richardson, had sailed from Botwood, Newfoundland. Yesterday, she steamed out of port for Bridgetown, Barbados.

Meyer Agencies reported the arrival yesterday morning of the Bermuda Islander with 60 dry containers and five refrigerator containers.

The car ship Ocean Express was in port on Sunday to deliver 58 automobiles.

The ship left the same day for St. Maarten where she intended to return three stowaways.

Container Ship Management said the Oleander was in port from Sunday to yesterday delivering 106 dry containers, 32 refrigerator containers, five Tornado sailboats for Race Week and assorted machinery.

The US Navy frigate Trippe is expected to leave port this week after five days of rest and relaxation for her 288 officers and crew.

The tanker Laurtiz Kosan , represented by John S. Darrell Ltd., is scheduled to call at the Esso oil docks tomorrow.
