Youth play is back on the road

Youth Development, Sport, Parks and Recreation got underway last week.The show, which is organised by Black Box Productions, was at the Clocktower Parade in the Royal Naval Dockyard last Thursday.

The show, which is organised by Black Box Productions, was at the Clocktower Parade in the Royal Naval Dockyard last Thursday.

This Thursday, July 9, the show will be at PHC Stadium in Warwick, and North Village Community Club Field, Bernard Park on July 16.

The finale takes place in King's Square, St. George's on July 23.

Each show begins at 7.30 p.m. and spectators are encouraged to bring a picnic supper.

*** Bermuda Botanical Gardens is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a variety of events.

Today at 10 a.m. there will be a guided tour of native and endemic collection.

Those interested should meet outside the Visitors Centre near the Berry Hill Road entrance to Botanical Gardens.

On Saturday July 18 at 8.30 a.m. there will be a presentation of Indian Laurel in Bermuda by Kenya Francis at the Horticultural Hall, Botanical Gardens.

There will also be a guided tour of the native and endemic collection at 10 a.m.

And on Tuesday, July 21 at 6.30 p.m., there will be another tour.
