Janeiro Tucker was red carded for arguing with referee Anthony Mouchette as the teams walked off the field for the interval of yesterday?s Premier Division match at White Hill Field with Eagles leading 1-0.

But the absence of Rangers? key striker only served to inspire the visitors as they ultimately came away with a share of the spoils.

Despite being a man down, Rangers played with more intensity in the second half and after Jermaine Dill had levelled the score with a headed goal from a Travis Wilkinson free kick after 51 minutes they dominated for the rest of the match.

Eagles had held a clear edge in the first half after taking the lead on a goal by Aldolphus Lambert with just seven minutes gone.

And there were other chances at both ends as Tucker was denied after being ruled offside while Eagles? Darren Dowling put a shot into the side-netting from an angle 15 yards out on the left and Lambert fired a fierce drive over from the same distance.

Tucker had shrugged off several firm challenges in the first half and with some going unnoticed he let the referee know about his anger. After his ejection, it seemed things could only go from bad to worse for Rangers.

But instead they stepped up a notch, forcing Eagles to desperately defend.

Wilkinson and Kwame Tucker fired shots narrowly over the top within 90 seconds of the restart and then Dill got the inevitable equaliser.

Dill and Rohaan Simons shot wide and over from just outside the box 10 minutes later as Eagles struggled to gain any initiative.

They did recover with substitutes Jelani Butterfield and Rodre Wilson coming close near the end ? Rangers? ?keeper Dwayne Adams advancing off his goal-line to block the latter.
