Curb to hold restorative practices virtual training

An anti-racism group will hold a second virtual training seminar on restorative practices.

Citizens Uprooting Racism in Bermuda will hold the training on January 22 and January 23. People people can register by contacting CURB at admin@uprootingracism.org or calling 707-1496.

Restorative Practices is a research-based framework of methods and philosophies that allow individuals and groups to develop a strong sense of community and cohesion. It is often used in courts, schools and correctional facilities as an alternative to punitive approaches.

Curb’s trainers are licensed by the International Institute for Restorative Practices to conduct official trainings.
