Aaron Smith of St George’s was yesterday named as the motorcyclist killed in an accident near Terceira’s gas station.Mr Smith, 45, was involved in a crash with a car on North Shore Road, Devonshire, near the junction with Cable Hill, at about 2.20pm on Tuesday.Police say he was seriously injured as a result and received CPR at the scene before being taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance; he was pronounced dead at 2.52pm by an on call doctor.The two occupants of the car were not injured.Witnesses to the accident are urged to call Pc Timothy Evelyn at the Roads Policing Unit on 295-0011.
