A Matchie's Tree Kangaroo was transported from the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo in Flatts Village on May 17 by FedEx Express to Kansas.

Kabuli, a nine-year-old male kangaroo, was accompanied by two staff members of the zoo on the flight. The kangaroo will be loaned to the Sedgwick County Zoo in Wichita, Kansas, for an indefinite period.

Tree kangaroos are native to the mountainous rainforest region of the Huon Peninsula of New Guinea.
