The Bermuda Stock Exchange said it had been advised by Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd., the owner of <I>The Royal Gazette </I>and Mid-Ocean News, that it had made changes to its board of directors.In a notice posted by the BSX, it said that following the death of Dr. E.S.D. Ratteray on February 9 2003 and the resignation of J. Michael Collier (with effect from July 30 2003), the board of directors had appointed Carl Paiva and Christopher Swan as directors of Bermuda Press (Holdings) Limited. It added that the appointments of Mr. Paiva and Mr. Swan were also effective as of July 30 2003.

Tyco chairman buys 25,000 shares

WASHINGTON - Tyco International Ltd. chairman and chief executive Edward Breen purchased 25,000 shares of the company's common stock on Monday according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Breen bought the shares at $18.42 each. After the transaction, Mr. Breen directly owned 25,010 Tyco common shares.
