Knife put against man?s neck
A robber put a knife to a man?s neck before stealing his house key on Saturday night.
The incident unfolded at a home on Derwent Lane, Devonshire.
?The victim, a 41-year-old Devonshire man, stated that he arrived at his friend?s residence around 10:15pm and was parking his motorcycle when an unknown man approached him from behind,? said a Police spokesman.
?The suspect turned him around, put a knife to his neck and demanded money. The victim told the suspect that there was money in the cycle. The suspect then punched the victim several times in the face and chest, causing him to fall to the ground. ?
The robber searched the cycle and took a house key before escaping on foot as his victim shouted for help. He was described as approximately 5?11? tall, of medium build, wearing a black rain suit top, dark coloured pants, an open face silver helmet and black gloves. The victim was treated in hospital and discharged.
