Digicel internet customers who subscribe to CableVision for broadband access experienced an interruption in service yesterday morning.A Digicel spokesperson says at 8:11am, a fibre-optic feeder line owned by CableVision was accidentally cut by construction equipment, resulting in an outage to Digicel internet customers.Digicel internet customers who subscribe to BTC for broadband access were unaffected by the outage.Crews were able to repair the line at 12:19pm, and service to customers was then restored.“Digicel wishes to apologise to all customers affected by the CableVision internet outage for the inconvenience,” the spokesperson said.
