Break-ins at Sandys guest house and Warwick home

Burglars stole three cell phones, a Toshiba laptop, a video iPod and a JVC video camcorder from a Sandys guest property on Saturday.

Tourists told Police they returned to their apartment about 9.45 p.m. to discover that an unknown culprit had gained entry while it was unoccupied.

The day before, officers received a report of a break-in at Cobbs Hill Road, Warwick. The householder reported that sometime between 8.45 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied.

They stole a black Toshiba flat screen TV, a white Memorex stereo, a green iPod Nano and a quantity of jewellery.

There were 11 reported burglaries over the weekend and three people were arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.

There were also six road accidents resulting in injury, five crashes involving vehicle damage and seven vehicles taken without consent.
