Bermudian Shazzinha Warren has been chosen to join 37 people from across the Caribbean to travel to the World Cup Final in South Africa.

All flights, accommodation in a luxury hotel, a safari tour, polo shirts and spending money are part of the package for a total value of $30,000, all sponsored by telecommunications company Digicel.

Ms Warren will also receive a 42 inch plasma flat screen TV.

The promotion ran for one month and culminated in an exciting grand draw with the winners announced during a live broadcast of "Football Treasures" at Bermuda Broadcasting Company studios on Tuesday night.

Ms Warren said of her win: "I never dreamed I'd be heading to see the greatest teams in the world play each other in the world's most prestigious tournament.

"I'd like to thank Digicel for giving me this once-in-a-lifetime trip and fantastic opportunity — I'm really excited about going to beautiful South Africa to watch the final game!"
