Drug maker in $1.3b IPO

Bermuda-registered drug maker Warner Chilcott yesterday revised how much its expects to raise in an initial public offering from $1 billion to $1.3 billion in an initial public offering.
Warner Chilcott, which makes the oral contraceptive Loestrin 24 Fe and skin medicine Taclonex, among many other products, said it will offer 70.6 million shares at $17-$19 a share.
Warner Chilcott has applied to have its Class A common stock approved for quotation on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol ?WCRX?.
Goldman Sachs is an underwriter of the IPO.
