Premier too strong for Corona
Premier Division 8Corona League 2The Premier Division All-Star team won the battle of the bragging rights in last night’s Eversly (Bo) Lewis All-Star match at BAA Field.The event honoured the legacy of former Scottish professional Lewis, who signed for Aberdeen FC as a teenager in the early 1960s.On target for the Premier Division, coached by Shaun Goater, were Jahron Dickinson (3), Domico Coddington (3) and Ralph Bean (2).Rui Furtado and Lamar Crofton scored for the Corona League.Part proceeds will be donated to local charities St. John Ambulance and Youth Vision.Former winger Lewis signed by Aberdeen at the age of 17 in 1961. Although the talented winger never played first team football he did enough to inspire compatriot Clyde Best who became a cult hero at West Ham.
