Bermuda, 194 all out, beat Oman, 160 all out, by 34 runsBermuda have beaten Oman at Lord’s in St David’s to grab their first points of the Pepsi ICC World League Division 3 tournament.Jacobi Robinson took the final wicket of Munis Ansari (11), to end any chance of Oman reaching Bermuda’s total of 194.Malachi Jones led from the front, grabbing three wickets for 29 runs, while fellow new ball partner Dion Stovell, Rodney Trott, and Robinson claimed two wickets each.Amir Ali was the high man for Oman as he hit an unbeaten 58 that included four fours and six, while Jatinder Singh (28) tried his hardest to steady the ship when the early order batsmen failed, leaving the side all out in 41.5 overs.Bermuda were dismissed for 194 in 44.1 overs with Gibbons ( 33) being the last wicket.Gibbons was stumped, leaving Jacobi Robinson (22) unbeaten at the end of the innings. Robinson hit three fours and a six in his 14 ball stay at the crease, while Gibbons topped scored in the hosts innings.The hosts made a decent start with openers Dion Stovell and Chris Douglas putting on 24 for the first wicket before Stovell fell for 16, bowled by Ansari.Skipper Stephen Outerbridge scored a quick-fire 15 before he, too, was dismissed by Ansari with the score at 57.Bermuda then lost three quick wickets with Douglas caught behind off the bowling of Amir Ali for 21, and Janeiro Tucker (3) and David Hemp (5) both falling cheaply.However, wicketkeeper Jason Anderson and big-hitter Lionel Cann steadied the ship, putting on 36 runs for the sixth wicket, before Cann was out for 16.Ali led Oman’s bowling attack with three wickets.
